The Foote Fellows Honors Program recognizes the most academically accomplished incoming first-year students—those who have distinguished themselves both inside and outside of the classroom and are self-motivated, independent thinkers.

Admission to this program is by invitation only.

The program reflects the educational vision of former University of Miami President Edward T. Foote II, whose 20-year tenure shaped the University’s commitment to intellectual freedom and academic excellence.
