The University of Miami has three campuses on more than 400 acres in Miami-Dade County.
We offer information sessions and student-led walking tours throughout the year. Visit our Information Session and Campus Tour Schedule page for availability. Note: We reserve the right to cancel information sessions and campus tours at any time.
We welcome your visit request at any time; however, please keep in mind that our schedule is updated throughout the year. If you do not see any availability, please check back in a few days. Additional time may be necessary to accommodate any special requests.
You will receive a confirmation email if you provide a valid email address to us when scheduling your visit. This email will contain important information about your visit, including a QR code for check-in, room locations, and parking instructions.
Our Self-Guided Walking Tour is the next best thing to a guided tour. As you take yourself around campus, be sure to take in the sights and enjoy your time on campus. The Self-Guided Walking Tour includes:
Absolutely; if you are unable to visit our campus in person, we encourage you to take our Virtual Tour anytime, anywhere!
In the event that you need to cancel your visit, please refer to the cancellation link at the bottom of your confirmation email. You could then register for a different day by completing the registration process again.
You can schedule campus visits for dates that occur in the near future. If your intended date is in the distant future, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 305-284-6000 to confirm that an information session and/or tour is offered on that day.
You must register prior to attending a campus information or tour, as space may be limited.
We recommend that all campus visitors park in our Pavia Parking Garage. Enter the following address into your navigation system: Pavia Parking Garage

Coral Gables, FL 33146
The office hours are as follows: Please note the University is closed on all national holidays.
Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A general information session about academics, student life, the admission process, and financial aid at the University of Miami. The information session lasts approximately 45 minutes.
If you have additional questions after the information session and campus tour, an admission counselor will be available to help you. For financial aid questions, you may contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance and Employment.
Our guided tours are led by student ambassadors also known as P100s. The student ambassador will cover UM’s history, traditions, dining, student centers, library, bookstore, and other campus facilities while walking around campus. The tour lasts approximately one hour.
If you will need special accommodations (e.g., a wheelchair), email admissionevents@miami.edu with the subject line “Special Accommodation” at least three weeks in advance of your visit. Be sure to include your full name and date of birth on all correspondence.
To ensure the safety and privacy of our current students, we do not take visitors into any classrooms or residential areas during the campus tour. You can get an inside look at many of our facilities on our virtual tour and our YouTube channel.
Parent participation is not mandatory but is highly encouraged—much of the information covered during the information session and campus tour is helpful for parents of future Miami Hurricanes as well as the students.
Although we love furry friends, we request that pets are not brought on campus tours. Service animals are always welcome.
If the rain is light to moderate, your tour will most likely still go on. If severe weather conditions occur, we cannot permit a walking tour to go outside out of concern for both our students and your safety. The Coral Gables campus utilizes Thor Guard Lightning Prediction and Warning Systems to monitor the atmosphere and evaluate for the potential threat of lightning within the area. If lightning is predicted to occur within 2.5 miles of campus, a siren will sound and a strobe light will remain flashing until safe conditions return. Tours will not be conducted until safe conditions return.
In most cases, the campus tour follows the information session. During select times of the year, a campus-tour-only option is offered. See our Visit page for more information.
