Our Location
FEW PLACES IN THE WORLD HAVE IT ALL, but Miami comes close. Our presence in the city affords students a broad range of opportunities. ’Canes benefit from real-world experiences in government, nonprofit organizations, multinational corporations, and everything in between. Study in a location that prepares you for tomorrow’s global community.
From historic to contemporary, there’s something to enjoy for everyone under the sun. Beyond the extraordinary blend of colors, cultures, and opportunities, you’d be hard-pressed to find a city as diverse as Miami. So, welcome! ¡Bienvenidos! Byen venu! Here’s a taste of what our location has to offer.

Pioneers such as the Coral Gables Playhouse, independent Books & Books, and a core group of private art collections set the stage for the explosive growth of Miami’s cultural scene. These days there are more cultural happenings in Miami than you can keep track of. Throughout the year, Miamians pack venues for festivals dedicated to visual art, poetry, books, food, music, and history. When there isn’t a big event, mainstays like the internationally renowned Pérez Art Museum Miami and the Ancient Spanish Monastery reflect our multicultural identity.

You don’t get a reputation as a melting pot without having the food to show for it. Miami’s world-class culinary culture draws on Latin, French, Asian, and local roots but is unafraid to take your taste buds on an adventure. In Miami, fine dining is not limited to five-star restaurants. You’re just as likely to find Instagram-worthy eats at a gourmet food truck or the mom-and-pop neighborhood staple. Beyond the entree, Miamians take their coffee very seriously. For a quick pick-me-up, grab a cafecito from Versailles restaurant’s walk-up window or a handcrafted cup of joe from Panther Coffee
