Whether you’re just getting to know us or plan to apply, we welcome you to attend Preview the U. Attend an information session at one of our nine schools and colleges, and learn more about the admission and financial aid processes. You'll also meet representatives from several University departments and tour our beautiful campus.

Connect with representatives from across the university and learn more about the offerings at UM. This is your best opportunity to chat with representatives to inspire your future involvement as a 'Cane.

Welcome to the U!Ballroom, Shalala Student Center
Karen Long, Assistant Vice President of Undergraduate Admission and Marketing, Thomas J. LeBlanc, Executive Vice President and Provost 

1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Campus Tours Departing from the Lakeside Patio Stage
Explore campus and tour a residential college room with a President's 100 student ambassador. 
11:30 - 12:45 p.m. Academic Interest Sessions 
Representatives from each of our nine undergraduate schools and colleges will offer information sessions.
12:45 p.m. Lunch – Lakeside Patio
1:30 - 3:00 p.m.

Concurrent Sessions
Identical sessions will be offered at 1:30 and 2:15 p.m. 

'Cane Talk Student Panel – Activities Room, Shalala Student Center
It's great to be a Miami Hurricane! Hear from a panel of diverse students about the spirit, experiences, and breadth of opportunity at the U.

Admission and Financial AidBallroom, Shalala Student Center
Learn information about our admission process and the resources available to help families afford a University of Miami education.

1:30 - 2:30p.m. The Transfer Experience – Iron Arrow Room, Shalala Student Center (transfer students only)
Current transfer students will describe all of the resources available on campus and why they chose the U. Admission and financial aid officers will explain the transfer application process and how students can finance their University of Miami education.
2:15 - 3:15 p.m. Ice CreamLakeview Lounge, Shalala Student Center
Please join us for a sweet treat provided by Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream, a local delicacy and a student favorite. Chuck Woodard, University of Miami Class of 2014, and Daniel Golik opened Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream four years ago while Chuck was still in the School of Business Administration completing a master’s degree in finance. As a student, Woodard used UM’s entrepreneurship center, The Launch Pad, to hone his skills and passion. During his junior year, he won the ACC March Madness Pitch-Off Competition in Raleigh, N.C. Enjoy!

Explore campus and tour a residential college room with a President's 100 student ambassador. Tours will last 45 minutes and will depart every thirty minutes; the last tour will depart at 3:00 p.m.
