The Dual-Degree Program in Law is an exciting opportunity for students interested in earning a law degree at the University of Miami. Through this program, students with high academic ability gain admission to both undergraduate and graduate study in the School of Law. Such an achievement guarantees admission to the School of Law, pending students meet all program requirements - and gives qualified students the chance to complete both bachelor's and juris doctor degrees in just six years.
This innovative program is available to students who complete three years in residence at UM in the College of Arts & Sciences.
Note that in order to be competitive for merit-based scholarships, a strong LSAT is required.
To be promoted to the University of Miami School of Law, a student must: meet all standard School of Law admissions requirements, which include (a) registering for the LSDAS service, and (b) submitting the application for the School of Law full-time program by the preferred deadline date.
