The University of Miami’s main campus is located in the heart of the city of Coral Gables, in Miami-Dade County. UM students take advantage of the world-famous climate and attractions that make South Florida such a unique place to live and learn. Because of our geographic location, the University of Miami offers what most places cannot: a mosaic of cultures, traditions, and lifestyles. The air is filled with different languages, and the campus reflects the vibrant city nearby where the world comes to do business.
The University has grown from its main location in Coral Gables to include the Medical Campus located in Downtown Miami and the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science on Virginia Key.
