When it comes to dining, there are plenty of choices.

Students can choose from a wide variety of foods and menus available across campus. Grab something on the go or sit down for a relaxing meal with friends at any number of locations:

Hurricane Food Court

From sushi to a burrito, home-made soups to smoothies, you can grab a quick bite at the Hurricane Food Court located at the Whitten University Center.

The Rathskeller

Stop by the beloved campus restaurant, The Rathskeller (“The Rat” for short), where you can often find students sitting on gliders ordering burgers, fries, salads, milkshakes, and more.

In a rush? Outtakes has everything from premade sandwiches to snacks and coffee. This is also a great stop for certain household needs!

Hecht/Stanford Dining Hall and Mahoney/Pearson Dining Hall

We also have dining options in our Hecht/Stanford Dining Hall as well as our Mahoney/Pearson Dining Hall – just an added convenience!

Coral Gables neighborhood

Students enjoy various on-campus snack bars, cafés, and convenience stores in addition to an array of restaurants located just off-campus in our Coral Gables neighborhood.

The University of Miami requires all undergraduate students living in its residential colleges during the fall and/or spring semesters to purchase a Meal Plan. A variety of meal plans have been designed to accommodate the needs of all students.

Check out the Dine on Campus Website for more information on dining locations, menus and nutritional information and the Dining Services website for meal plan options.
