"It's great to be a Miami Hurricane!"

UM's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is dedicated to developing and supporting its student-athletes in their efforts to achieve personal, academic, and athletic excellence. A competitor in the NCAA Division I Atlantic Coast Conference, UM's teams have established a winning tradition that includes more than 65 national championships and hundreds of All-American athletes.

A variety of collegiate sports are hosted on campus, from baseball games at Mark Light Field to the basketball games at the Watsco Center. With five National and nine Conference Championships, the Miami Hurricanes football team can be seen playing one of their home games at Hard Rock Stadium, which provides student-athletes and fans a first-class experience both on and off the field.

All UM athletic events are free for full-time undergraduate students. Simply swipe your Cane Card for entry into the game. Transportation to Hard Rock Stadium is provided free-of-charge for all students with their Cane ID. Simply visit the Information Desk at the University Center to receive a complimentary bus pass. Buses depart from Stanford Circle on a rolling basis before each home game. Trips from Hard Rock Stadium back to the Coral Gables campus start at half-time.

Whichever sporting event you choose to attend, you'll always be in the presence of UM's powerful school spirit. It's best summed up by the chant heard at every athletic event, "It's great to be a Miami Hurricane!"
